How to Create an Effective Landing Page?

An effective landing page is the cornerstone of successful online marketing. Your offer may be stellar and your PPC ads might be optimized pieces of perfection, but without a good landing page, your business is bound to suffer. Your landing page layout needs to be flawless.

1. Your Landing page should have Clean and Organized Design.

The look, feel, and overall structure of your page design will have a huge impact on the effectiveness of your landing page and how well it drives conversions.

2. Create eye-catching headlines.

Most good landing pages use the main headline to confirm the offer and use a subheading for more explanation or value proposition (aka why your offer is awesome).

3. Have a clear call to action.

Call to actions can be present in the headline text as well as the button text (example: “submit” vs. “download your free marketing guide”). There should be no question as to what next steps are necessary — tell your visitors exactly what you want them to do in big, bold text.

When a user visits your site, naturally as an online marketer you want to collect as much data as you can from them. However, when it comes to creating a good landing page, less is more. It is extremely important that you make users fill out a few form fields as possible.

A landing page without submenu is more effective and will help the user to focus on your Landing page without distraction.

6. Make Your Page Mobile Friendly.

These days it’s essential that your landing page can easily be navigated on mobile devices, as nearly 30% of all web activity comes from mobile. It’s been shown that having a mobile-friendly site can even double your conversions.

7. Follow-up with a thank you page.

The thank-you page is a great way to guide visitors to other related material on your website that they may be interested in and The thank-you page is the perfect place to suggest related products, guides and information your audience may find helpful, or links to other parts of your site, such as your company blog.
